Voices

There are voices you don’t listen to.
Notice when the plastic bags feel discomfort as you push them in bin,
Hear the door latch screaming while it feels used,
Observe the clicks of your mouse feel like a horseshoe as your pressurize them,
Drop a pen and see it vouch for its pain,
Now do this with a small pin.
Close your eyes and let it fly.
Then ask the pin why it made the feeble sound,
Was it courage, or fear?
Was it a cry, or a roar?
Or maybe, ask yourself why you listened to it just this time.
